Roger Webster
On the 8th and 9th of may 2010 Roger Webster- on of the world's best cornet players- will be a guest of the Brass Band Düren. He has played with some of the most notable brass bands like Black Dyke Band and the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. He also teaches performance at the Royal Northern College of Music as well as a weekly lecture on psychology.
On the 8th of may he will be doing a workshop with the Brass Band Düren.
On the 9th of may he will held a public workshop for all interested players from 3 to 6 pm in the Humboldthaus of the RWTH-University in Aachen. Following up the workshop is a joined concert from the Brass Band Düren and the Big Band of the RWTH. The workshop will cost 20 Euro and you can register for it by writing Martin Schädlich (contact).

Malte Burba
After the great success of the past workshop in 2009 the Brass Band Düren will be helding another workshop with Malte Burba on the 4th and 5th of september 2010. This workshop specially targets all players of brass instruments, who would like to expand their knowledge about the physical procedures during their playing. Additionally one will get assistance on how to exercise various functions of the body to improve ones security, endurance and hight. The participation fee is 100€,
