Purpose of the association

As a result of an increasing number of performances the organisational effort for the musicians in the brass band went up. Simultaneously the financial risks rose-due to more distant trips and bigger audiences. These risks and responsibilities could not be taken anymore by individuals from the band, which is why it was necessary to incorporate the brass band into an independant legal form.

The association enables the Brass Band Düren to act as an independant contracting party. In addition we succeeded in including friends and acquaintances in our committee work, who themselves don’t play any instruments in the Brass Band Düren. That way we gained important skills for a continuing successful development of the Brass Band Düren.

Furthermore it is now possible to become a "supporting member". By supporting us you help us to cope with financial challenges, e.g. the participation in remote competitions or the acquisition of new instruments.
